Today we have a brief understanding of the main surface treatments of machined plastic workpieces.
The surface treatments commonly used by 2fprototypes manufacturers include polishing, powder baking, chemical coating, optical sandblasting, polishing, paint and UV curing, etc.
1. Polishing treatment: use abrasive belt or gravel to remove surface defects, and process the surface of fine-grained and tiny components.
2. Powder baking paint: Dry the electric heating powder of a specific color to form a multi-layer thick coating to change the appearance and quality of the surface of plastic products.
3. Chemical coating: use biological materials or metal, steel and plastic for coating treatment to form a surface appearance that is anti-corrosion, corrosion-resistant, and resistant to high and low temperatures.
4. Optical sandblasting: use the characteristics of light to guide small sand particles to the surface of plastic products, remove the uneven part of the surface, and make the surface of plastic products smooth and lubricated.
5. Polishing: For surface treatment of plastic products, use a polishing machine to scrape up metal materials or biological materials on the surface of plastic products to form a mirror polishing layer.
6. Paint: Spray special color paint on the surface of plastic products to increase the appearance of plastic products.
7. Ultraviolet light curing: Use ultraviolet light to seal the surface of plastic products to increase the surface strength and stain resistance of plastic products and prolong the service life of plastic products.
